About time and it's nature

Against that time, if ever that time come

Against that time, if ever that time come,
When I shall see thee frown on my defects,
When as thy love hath cast his utmost sum,
Called to that audit by advised respects;
Against that time when thou shalt strangely pass,
And scarcely greet me with that sun, thine eye,
When love, converted from the thing it was,
Shall reasons find of settled gravity—
Against that time do I ensconce me here
Within the knowledge of mine own desart,
And this my hand, against myself uprear,
To guard the lawful reasons on thy part.
To leave poor me thou hast the strength of laws,
Since why to love I can allege no cause.

William Shakespeare

Wings

I want today to last forever
I wish time would stop today
But, it won't so I am left wondering
Time is headed nowhere, is it astray?
We go through life
As time flies by
We can't slow down
No matter how we try.
Time is an eternity
Time is endless
Against its power
We're left defenseless.
It will catch up with us one day
It's as through it flies on wings
And it is with these wings that it
Manages to allow us to do so many things.
But time will come to an end some day
And this will be a sad time for all
Quiet silence, time will be no more
And these broken Wings of Time will fall.
